On 19 December 2016, at 21:00, the Merseyside derby will conclude the program of the 17th round in English Premier League at Goodison Park, between Everton and Liverpool.

During the last five matches of the oldest derby in England, Liverpool had the upper hand, by winning two times with similar score of 4:0. Other three matches finished in a draw: 1:1, 0:0 and 1:1. Everton cannot beat their primary adversary at home since 2010. But Everton haven’t lost a single match at their home ground this season. Liverpool will probably set themselves for a victory but will keep in mind the failures with West Ham and Bournemouth.
