Valencia – Osasuna Prediction 9 January 2017

The 17th round of the Spanish Primera will be concluded by the encounter of Osasuna and Valencia, the two outsiders, which are risking to be relegated from the elite Spanish division by results of the current season. Regardless of the field factor, bookmakers reckon, that the Bats have bigger chances to win the game, than the future hosts.

One can partly agree with the action line of the “all-knowing”, as Osasuna are failing miserably this season. The Pamplonians have had eight matches at their home ground, in which they had no victories, two draws were registered, as well as six defeats, only four goals were scored and 15 conceded. In the last five matches within the Spanish championship, Osasuna lost five times, conceding 13 times and scoring only once.

As for Valencia, they’ve changed the head coach once again, but the measure hasn’t brought any success yet. Under the new manager, the Bats have had the Spanish Cup match against Celta at their home ground and the result is miserable: 1:4 defeat, which means Valencia give up to fight in the second most prestigious tournament in Spain. In the last five matches Valencia won only once, which happened on 29 November in a match against Leganes, there were also a tie with Deportivo and defeats from Celta, Sevilla and Real Sociedad.

Both future competitors are in crisis and having troubles with creative actions. Moreover, Osasuna have the weakest attack in the Spanish elite league, Valencia scores at least sometimes, but does it only periodically.

Prediction for the match: Under 3.0 goals in the match
