On Wednesday, the 31st May, Morocco national football team will have a friendly match against the team of Netherlands at their home ground in the city of Agadir. Even though the encounter isn’t official, it is expected with great interest by football fans, as not many matches of high level are held these days, many footballers are on vacation. Bookmakers consider the Oranges slight favorites in the match, however also leaving chances on a positive result for the Moroccans.
It is a good question, what would the Dutch team be without Blind. Fred Grim, who is the acting head coach at the moment, will probably try out the youth in action, as the specialist had worked exactly with the Dutch youth team until recent time. In this situation, one can expect many experiments, however, one should probably not expect a decent result from the Oranges. The match will be Grim’s first attempt at managing.
Morocco are a very decent team, which got into top eight African teams at the last CAN. The Moroccans managed to advance from a tough group, in which the teams of Congo, Togo and Ivory Coast were present apart from them. The future hosts lost to the Egyptians with a score of 0:1 in CAN quarter-final. After the African football forum, Morocco have had two friendlies with Burkina Faso and Tunisia. Both matches were won without conceding goals.
Morocco national team has several strong players in the squad, who will probably play in the forthcoming game. It is a matter of honor for the Africans to look qualitatively against a strong European national team, which currently has big problems, therefore it wouldn’t be something surprising, if Morocco wouldn’t lose in the match against the Oranges.
Prediction for the match: Morocco not to lose.
