Carl Edwards gambles late, wins Coca-Cola 600
19 driver performed his signature backflip off the race-winning car at the end of NASCAR’s longest race. Edwards pitted while the leaders stayed out with 62 laps to go, hoping to make it to the end of the race without refueling. Edwards, who has never won at Charlotte, led the final 25 laps as the field made their final pit stop of the night and raced to the checkered in front of Greg Biffle by over four seconds.
