Chelsea will host the Welsh team of Swansea on the upcoming Saturday at their home ground in the English capital. The Blues are considered clear favorites amongst bookmakers as the Welsh look weak in the first half of the season, therefore it is hard to presume at the expense of what can they give battle to the acting champions of England. The action line set for the game looks logical.
At the very end of October Chelsea lost to Roma away 0:3, that was a Champions League match. After that meeting the Londoners had four matches in November in which they managed to win thrice with one away draw against Liverpool. The victories were registered over Manchester United, West Bromwich, Qarabag, and Chelsea didn’t concede a single goal to their net.
The last time Swansea managed to win within the EPL was on the 14th October in a domestic match against Huddersfield. After that game Swansea lost five times and had one draw. The only split of points was registered with Bournemouth, the losses were against Leicester, Manchester United, the Gunners, the Seagulls and the Crimsons. Swansea City are situated on the 19th position in the EPL tournament table, i.e. the relegation zone, the representatives of Wales have nine points in the asset. Swansea have had six away matches, have one victory with three losses.
Chelsea have much worse statistics this season at their home ground, then in away matches, but Conte’s team will probably improve the domestic digits soon enough. But it is hard to believe in Swansea perspective to keep their position in the EPL, the Welsh show the most uninteresting football in the league.
