Juventus and Barcelona will play against each other on the upcoming Sunday within the International Champions Cup. The match will be held in New Jersey and it will probably cause a huge hype amongst the US football fans, as the two top European teams meet, one of which has become the champion of Italy and the UEFA Champions League finalist. Bookmakers are on the Catalonian side in this couple and one should probably agree with that.
Juventus haven’t played any friendlies yet, although they were supposed to play against Monterrey and Tigres, two Mexican teams. As for changes in Juve squad, Allegri remains on his post, but Alves, Bonucci have left, Coman has been bought out by Bayern, Zaza by Valencia, as well as Neto. The team is joined by Szczesny, Bentancur, with Douglas Costa on loan and Cuadrado and Benatia bought.
Barca have only one change, but huge – Ernesto Valverde as the head coach, Cristian Tello, Mathieu, Masip have left, Semedo, Marlon and Deulofeu have joined the club. Like Juventus, Barca haven’t played any friendly matches yet, therefore it is pretty hard to judge the current shape of the Catalonians right now. Last year Barca had three matches at the International Cup: the victories were over Celtic 3:1 and 4:2 over Leicester, and the loss were against Liverpool 0:4.
Historically, the Italians enter a season with difficulties, while Barcelona are more, than a club. Barca always try to play only for a victory even in friendly and control matches. One may try making a bet on a favorite, as Barcelona have decent chances to win.
