Within the International Champions Cup, the Italian team Milan will play against the German Borussia Dortmund in the Chinese Guangzhou. Vincenzo Montella has finally brought Milan back to Europe, this Allenatore remains working with Il Diavolo for the future season, while Borussia have a new manager in the person of Peter Bosz. The Dutchman managed to bring Ajax to the Europa League final last season.
Milan have strengthened significantly in the midseason. The team has been joined by such players as Leonardo Bonucci, Andre Silva, Luca Vido and Matteo Pessina. Milan’s roster is evaluated as the third strongest in Serie A at the moment, only Juventus and Napoli have stronger players, therefore it would be interesting to look at Montella’s men.
Borussia Dortmund are also strengthening themselves, but not as fast, as Milan, of course. Philipp, Toprak, Dahoud have joined the team, while Ginter, Bender, Ramos and Stenzel have left the side. But what is most important is that the new head coach is Peter Bosz. The Black-and-Yellows management is hoping, that the Dutch specialist will be able to raise the BVB to a new level. Prior to the match against Milan, the Dortmund team had only one friendly encounter against Essen, which was lost with a score of 2:3.
Both teams have motivation, both have something to prove even despite the fact, that the upcoming match is only a friendly. Milan currently are not much weaker, than Borussia, there are interesting performers both in defense and attack.
Prediction for the match: Milan not to lose
