Llandegfedd Visitor and Watersports Centre was non-stop by Welsh Water

A new £2.5m caller and watersports centre has been non-stop in Torfaen.

The new facility, formed during Llandegfedd Reservoir, nearby Pontypool, offers activities including windsurfing, boat sailing, canoeing and kayaking.

It is approaching to attract tens of thousands of additional visitors to a area any year, as good as formulating 5 full time jobs and 15 anniversary roles.

The site, that has 6 miles of pavement walks, was non-stop by owners Welsh Water.

The firm’s arch handling officer, Pete Perry, pronounced a centre would be a “huge asset” to internal activity groups as good as “drawing people from all over a world”.
