Westwood: ‘I’ve never seen a game officiated so badly’
The British coach of Bengaluru was amazed that his side’s important tie versus Dempo was officiated by a person who, according to him, didn’t seem to have FIFA badges. Head coach of Bengaluru FC Ashley Westwood insinuated that the referee was incompetent as the defending champions drew away to relegation-threatened Dempo SC. The game ended with Bengaluru two points behind the leaders Mohun Bagan, whom they face in next week’s title decider.
